The goal was to create a road helmet that delivers uncompromising safety and exceptional ventilation for the demanding, hot conditions faced by South African riders. Another key aspect was cooling for South Africa’s hot summers. The helmet required numerous forward-facing vents and generous rear venting to channel airflow smoothly over the head, providing effective cooling across the entire scalp. To achieve our safety goals, we partnered with Mips®, the global leader in rotational impact protection, addressing a key factor proven to contribute to traumatic brain injuries during head impacts. Mips® technology helps reduce rotational forces during impacts, providing riders with an extra layer of protection in real-world crashes. The result is a helmet that balances advanced protection, comfort, and practical design—engineered for everyday riding conditions. Safety has always been at the forefront of cycling innovation, and the new Titan Racing Podium delivers.
Beyond safety, everyday usability was a core focus. Accommodations for glasses were a must, along with hassle-free fitting of the harness and chin strap. Features such as the one-handed magnetic buckle allow for quick, effortless opening and closing, ensuring an easy and secure fit. The integrated glasses dock provides convenient storage for eyewear while riding on long climbs or relaxed coasting sections. A fast-release twist adjuster on the harness allows for quick, precise fit adjustments when putting the helmet on or taking it off.
