Contact made through Facebook. Long chats, all ID's etc exchanged, agreed on on price.
Agreed on instant payment once proven that it was at courier. Fair enough.
Said instant couldn't be done, courier said they will only release for me once I'd confirmed.
Next day money wasn't in, called Absa, payment was fake.
Contacted courier, th yd already send to Johannesburg. Had them stop delivery. They confirmed, and I paid to have it sent back.
This is where gets interesting.
Scammers call triton (I have the call recordings) , woman at desk says it's marked for no delivery, he confirms and says that's because he's collecting.
At this point, I'm under impression triton is sending it back.
Then guy sends car to fetch it, triton desk releases it. Car that fetched was an uber and he dropped at some random location, and was paid with cash account.
Scammer deleted WhatsApp chats, didn't answer calls, got angry with me for accusing him , threatening me with lawyers for defamation and then starts trying to get me to refund him and he'll send bike back.....asshole.
Anyway, it's a loss, now I'm gonna take it up with triton. They had instructions to hold and return, should never have been released.
