Stolen: Specialized Camber 2017

Comp-carbon, 1 x 12 SRAM Eagle drive train, XT pedals, white bottle cage, red clamps for handle grips, seat post paint worn where saddlebag used to be, handle bar extensions, Garmin bracket

This road, Stepahnus Schoeman, is closed due to sink holes. My son (15) and I was racing down the road when two African males tackled my son who was in my slip stream at high speed. He fell and was injured. I stopped and they demanded our valuables using a knife as weapon. I threw my Garmin and cell phone in the bushes, to their disbelief. This bought me time to assess the condition of my son who was lying in the road. The suspects then took off with both our bikes in the bushes in the direction of Laudium. Lesson learned: Trust your instinct, don't use secluded roads, don't ride alone, don't be a hero. Pepper spray would have helped.
