Incident Details
More about the incident:
On Wednesday 28 September I got home from work, went to my bicycle that was locked downstairs in the bike racks provided. I worked on my bike a bit, fixed a new chain etc.
I then went back to the flat and went to bed later.
The next morning, 29 September, I went straight to work with my car.
Didn't go to look at my bike. I came home from work at about 16:45.
As I drove past the bike racks my eye caught something weird, my bike was not there.
Upon further inspection I saw that they tried to cut through the cables of my girlfriend's bike, also locked next to mine, but failed. The cable was clearly too robust. My bike was then next in line so the obviously cut my cable open and stole it.
The electric fencing at the back of the complex are completely down, disconnected. There are footprints scaling the walls. So clearly the electric fencing was not connected or turned off.
