Titan Racing Announce Updated Logo and Branding

Paid partnership with Titan Racing

By Press Office · 55 comments

Titan Racing has announced an updated logo and corporate identity as a reflection of the next pivotal step in the growth of the brand. From a single model in 2005 to a range packed with something for just about every rider, Titan Racing has grown to be one of the leading bicycle brands from South Africa, taking on the global market. The updated logo reflects the company’s vision to expand its model range to cater to a wider variety of riders and disciplines, whilst furthering its International distribution strategy which will see the brand grow its market share in countries where it is currently available, as well as new global markets that have opened their doors to the brand.

“Whilst our core business has always been providing competitively priced products and legendary back-up, we will extend these core values of our brand into a wider range of models, catering to the South African and our growing international market. We have several new models in the pipeline which we have been working on over the last couple of years and will be introducing to the market over the next six to twelve months. Titan Racing will also be bolstering our apparel and accessories line up which should start filtering into stores later this year and is expected to build on the success of our current range.” said Rob Luis, founder and co-owner of Titan Racing Bikes. “Our main goal is simply sharing what we love, the empowerment that a bicycle can deliver.”

“We are changing along with the sport, incorporating new technologies and ideas to improve the riding experience of our bikes, from geometry and fit right through to aerodynamics and suspension quality. I’m excited to see all our hard work pay off when the next generation of Titan Racing bikes become available in the next few months, flying the new TR livery.”

Cliff Beckett, Head Designer

“Seeing how the brand has grown and expanded over the years has far exceeded our expectations and the new identity change is an exciting time in forging the next era of the brand. As we launch our new identity, we’re not just introducing a new logo; we’re welcoming a new colour palette for our ranges that resonates with current trends. The new branding image captures the energy and essence of Titan Racing’s mission, as we continue to expand our global market.”

CJ Wright, Brand Designer

Simply put, Titan Racing is gearing up for a model launch drive like they’ve never had before in almost 20 years as a bicycle brand and their updated logo reflects this drive in the brand’s expansion. The new identity is effective immediately and will be implemented across all company communications. Our Nitric hardtail e-bike models are already available at dealers around the world with the new logo proudly displayed. Other models will follow as we receive new shipments over the next couple of months.

To stay in touch and up to date, follow Titan Racing on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter, and subscribe to their YouTube channel.

is this a Signal of Intense rivalry in the cycling market? Are they moving up to Cruz level with the new Specialized tsyled logo? Will their pricing remain Scalpel sharp or are we in for some Epic price increases. I love this brand. They are the perfect rebel in a world of Transition. Scott to say I wish them well because their brand is Giant in SA.

Well the designer was originally based with Pyga bikes.
Even so, one can line up a number of trunion style frames and they’ll all have a similar look one way or another. It’s neither here nor there.

All I can say is that if they can produce a Pyga/Session quality ride at Titan pricing, it's a win win......

Titan should include a bike archive on their website giving full detail of all older bikes, like TREK has.  This way their wont be any identity loss.

Hi Barry,

This is the second time, each time it was done to represent a major and important milestone in our history and future. The first time was when we went from TITAN to TITAN RACING. This was a big one for us as it was done to signify our move from using open molds to our own molds and bike designs. Cliff Beckket joined and brought with him a wealth of design knowledge and experience. The Cypher was launched soon after and has gone on to do extremely well for us. We also got our teeth stuck in the South African racing scene. Part to support local talent, part to put our bikes to the test in extreme South African conditions, and part to show it can be done on a Titan Racing bike. A couple of years later and any given Sunday you will find a Titan Racing rider on a podium in South Africa, Mauritius or Coast Rica. We have since launched several new models, the most recent being the Valerian Carbon. Designed, tested, and perfected in-house.

This round is more of a refresh than a rebrand. Actually, it is exactly that. We're still TITAN RACING, but for the team working behind the scenes, this is a massive MARKER in the stand. We can't say too much at the moment, but the next couple of months will be big for us.

There are already GREAT deals going on our bikes, which were already the best value-for-money bikes on the market.

Our marketing team should probably come up with a clever acronym for the new logo with a flashy PowerPoint presentation on how the slanted "A" encourages the movement of air over the rear triangle, and how the new logo is 10% smaller representing a 5-second saving at 400watts, BUT, they're probably out riding new bikes. 😎

You're a poet and you don't even realize it! 😎 And yes, there's no cypher here, our prices will remain as sharp as a scalpel. Even for the lefties among us.

Hey, i get this 100%. Titan has always been an iconic brand in my opinion and i am happy to recommend it to any potential customer. Campagnolo or Colnago amongst many have stuck to a logo for decades and they are recognized buy the logo.

As i said maybe i was mistaken about the 3 logo changes but i see 4.

Cool idea. Let's see if we can make it happen.

For now, if ever there is uncertainty anyone can just drop us a DM here or an email and we'll happily reply with the required info.

My quote was referring to the 2nd hand market in particular, the moment a brand releases a new or refreshed logo the older logo becomes less desirable and sits longer before it sells. Just an observation based on historical information

You're more than welcome to have them, I will give them to you for R99.00 as they're less desirable
