By Matt · 299 comments

Are you up for a challenge? Isuzu Trucks are giving away four team entries for the Isuzu Trucks PE Plett MTB Race, taking place 3 – 6 September 2015.

The Isuzu Trucks Endurance Challenge kicked off today (20 April 2015) and over the next four weeks you’ll be faced with a series of Strava-based challenges. If you complete them all you’ll go into the draw to win one of the four team entries plus R 5000 towards your travel.

Here’s how it works:

1) Sign up for the Challenge using your Strava account

2) All your rides logged on Strava between 20 April 2015 and 17 May 2015 will be imported, analysed and badges awarded when you reach the targets set out for each.

Are you up for the Challenge?

Here is a look at what lies ahead:

These badges apply to the full competition duration and any qualifying rides logged over that period count towards them.

Questions?

1. Will my indoor trainer / stationary bike sessions or manually logged rides count?

No, only rides tracked by a GPS device will be considered.

2. What if I sign up late?

You can sign up at any point in the competition. Any existing rides on Strava which fall within the competition period will be imported regardless of when you sign up.

Just doing my normal training so will not complete all but still interesting to see which ones I'll still get (8 done, probably 3 more I see that are attainable)

Mmmmmm 10 complete and still 2 I see that I should be able to complete this weekend, better than I thought

Those damn climbing ones  :cursing:

Also have not added any badges to my 10 since Sunday. Hopefully I can get on the bike again tomorrow.

Should get the 4 hour  and the 5895 m this weekend leaving me the 600km and 30 hours for next week.

Unfortunately the IDT does not add km's or meters climbing  also not sure if it will add any time for that matter.

But also only doing my training for the Magalies Monster that must reach its peak next weekend. Will be holding thumbs as this will be the only way I will ever afford to do a event like this.

Just got the last badge...

Toughest one was 3000m in one week... you need a bit of time - lucky I was on leave this past week, so could spend the extra hours.

Done.  Was a fun thing to do.

Next time the organisers should throw in a little something "extra"....stupid if you will......a challenge that not everyone can do and you have to go out of your way to complete.........

Just a thought.  ;)

It is picking up speed... I guess it is 'min dae', but probably everyone on that list (and even more) potentially can make it to all 14 badges...
