The last event in the popular 2014 Falke Trail Run Series will take place at the picturesque Delvera Farm on R44 about 10 km from Stellenbosch on Saturday, 6 December.
Registration starts from 06h00 at the Dirtopia Trail Centre and runners have a choice of four distances depending on fitness levels – a 15km, 12.5km, 7.5km and a 5km specifically designed to encourage newcomers, family and friends to participate. The longer distances have great flowing singletrack with a reward of magnificent winelands views and the majestic Table Mountain in the distance.
Pre-entries via the website www.dirtopia.co.za are offered at a discounted rate of 5km – R60, 7.5km – R75, 12.5km – R95 and 15km – R105. Pre-entries close on 2 December. Late entries on event day: 5km – R70 (no medal, no waterpoint), 7.5km – R90, 12.5km – R110 and 15km – R120. Medals will be awarded to all finishers of the three longer distances. Staggered starts will kick off with the 15km at 07h00, 12.5km at 07h15, 7.5km at 07h30 and the 5km at 07h45.
Timing will be done with Amarider Trail Tags. Tags can be rented or bought from the Dirtopia Trail Centre. Great prizes are up for grabs for the top performing men and ladies, while title sponsor Falke will offer fabulous lucky draw prizes.
