The Wild Bike Foundation is excited to announce that our project, E-Bikes to Accelerate Wilderness Conservation, South Africa, is part of a public vote for funding through the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA)!

We invite you to cast your vote on the EOCA website by November 15, 2024, to help us drive real change for conservation and community empowerment in South Africa.

This project aims to make a direct impact by:

  1. Deploying two new e-bikes for critical anti-poaching efforts, bolstering local wildlife protection.
  2. Supporting the operation of two existing bikes that play a key role in habitat management.
  3. Employing and training two local community members as bicycle safari guides.
  4. Launching a mountain biking safari product that will be led by our community guides, establishing a sustainable funding stream for conservation work.

Every vote brings us closer to a more resilient, self-sustaining conservation initiative that supports both nature and local communities. To vote for our project, E-Bikes to Accelerate Wilderness Conservation, visit EOCA’s project voting page and find our project entitled E-Bikes to Accelerate Wilderness Conservation, South Africa.
