The flagship race, the THIRSTI Extreme 225, promises to satisfy the quest for adventure fast! This race will cover 225 km in 3 days, boasting an ascent of 4537 m. It is an extreme race with even more extreme prize money up for grabs, R60 000 will go to first placed male & female!

For the weekend warrior who is longing to hit the trails without taking on the challenge of the 225, then the THIRSTI Extreme 130 is for you. You will cover 130 km in 3 days, with an ascent of 2600 m. This race is technically challenging, boasts amazing scenery and promises to provide some great riding.

With THIRSTI’s passion for South Africa’s youth and their values for health, fitness, and living life to the full, it is natural that they launched the THIRSTI Extreme Junior, which is specifically aimed at budding junior mountain bikers who are up for a challenge. This race covers 130 km over the 3 days with a total ascent of 2600 m. To celebrate our junior super stars, there is a good prize purse for male and female riders, placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

This race makes for the perfect long weekend break, and caters for family and supporters with many exciting activities on offer over the weekend to keep family and friends entertained while you are riding your heart out!
