Biking in the Bosch was founded by Joanna Dobinson in 2014. She noticed that there was a huge gap in the market to teach women how to ride better and decided to do something about it!
Being a passionate mountain biker, her 20 years of experience on the bike always translates into a relaxed and motivational experience on the trail. Her love for human movement, personal training and with a degree in Sports Science gives her the ability to sum up her clients quickly, and make the needed changes to help them get more out of the bike.
Specialized South Africa and Helderberg Cycle World back her company. Many of their employees have attended her clinics and have become better riders as a result.
She started off only training ladies, but these days she trains just as many men as she does women. Clients range from complete beginners who have never ridden before, through to seasoned professionals. She is the skills trainer of Jennie Stenerhag, Ariane Lüthi (Kleinhans), and Marie Rabie.
She runs clinics daily in Stellenbosch, monthly in Durbanville and Somerset West areas, and travels to other provinces quarterly.
