Edvald won the race back in 2009 but this will be his first time he participates in the Tour of Britain since that victory. Back then he also managed to take four stage wins along the way and the Norwegian is keen to shine on British roads once again. Edvald and Tyler will both use the race to prepare themselves for the Richmond World’s later this month.

Gerald is also a former stage winner in Britain and has fond memories of the race, given his stage win only dates back to 2013. Serge and Reinardt will look to take their opportunities on the harder stages with Andy completing the line-up. The Tour of Britain starts this coming Sunday in Anglesey, Wales. From there the race moves north to Scotland, before finishing in London on 13 September.

I have good memories from winning stages in the Aviva Tour of Britain in the past, and look forward to come back to race there again. My form has been pretty good over the last few weeks, so I hope to get some good results in some of the stages.
Edvald Boasson Hagen – Rider
The Tour of Britain is a tough race. With only six riders per team it’s hard to control. We must race aggressive and try to get into the breaks. With Edvald we have a rider who can do well over this week, especially with him having the World Championships in Richmond later this month in mind. We will also try to seek our chances with Tyler and Serge. We come with a strong team. We will fight for stage wins and to get a good result in the overall.
