Mountain Bike enthusiasts can look forward to Valentine’s Day (Friday, 14 February 2014), for another reason, the opening of entries for the 2014 FNB Wines2Whales (W2W) Mountain Bike (MTB) Events.
Riders that participated at the 2013 events or that were placed on the 2013 waiting list can enter the FNB W2W MTB Adventure, Ride or Race when online entries open at 08h00. Please note that both riders in the team need to be on the 2013 database to register during the preferential period. Public entries will open at 08h00 on Saturday, 01 March 2014.
Entries are limited to 600 teams (1200 riders) per event and will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Once the entry limit has been reached, riders will be placed on a waiting list. Only paid entries are guaranteed.
EVENT INFORMATION:
Starting in the Winelands of Somerset West, riders will cross through (and over) 13 wineries, 26 private farms, six mountains, historic roads and mountain passes, nature conservation areas (including the Kogelberg Biosphere) before finishing within sight of the famous whales of Hermanus!
