By Press Office · 525 comments

The annual Bike Hub Tour de France Fantasy Tour is back for 2018. This year Bike Hub is offering a Wahoo KICKR indoor smart trainer for the Fantasy Tour overall winner. We have also introduced a pools feature allowing you and your friends to face off in your own leagues.

Weekly Prizes

To keep you on track each week we’ll be giving away a Knog lights hamper to two lucky contenders. Check out the prizes page for all the details.

How it works

The Fantasy Tour is all about picking your very own Tour de France dream team. You can choose any riders from any team to make up the ultimate virtual team.

  • Pick your squad of 12 riders: 8 active riders and 4 substitutes.
  • Team submissions close once the Tour begins: at 11h10 SAST on Saturday, 7 July 2018.
  • Substitutes: On the two rest days during the race you’ll have the opportunity to substitute riders. You can drop the non-performers or bring in some fresh legs.
  • Once substituted, riders can be used again, however points are only allocated while a rider is active…. if they’re on the bench you don’t score points.

Pools

This year we have included a new a feature, public and private pools. Now you can square up against your friends, families, and colleagues. Get started by creating your own pools here.

Green wagon finally joining the party proper now.

Wonder if gaviria +greipel demotion shuffled the leaderboard a bit?

Today's stage should see some big changes

34th for me! That's gotta be a record. Not sure how long it will last though.

I don't care too much about the Gaviria relegation as most teams have him, but I'm one of few that has Greipel and his DQ hurts like hell. 40 points gone. I'm very curious to see who turns up on the climbs next week. If its Sky I'm toast. Hoping for a Thomas puncture today ;)

When I saw the Quickstep TdF team I thought they would change the way the tour has been raced since Lance and now Sky. They will also cause havoc in the mountains with long range attacks, just going for stages every day. Going for a 2,5 hour ride now then TV time

Think everyone is scared of Qs., ripping the **** out of the Pelton today.

Gc Contenders going to be scared of potentially losing big times today during any incidents

Absolutely. I am pretty confident that we will have at least 1 big GC name DNF today.

And I I think, with all eyes on QuickStep that we might see a surprise move by Bora, their guy isn’t half bad on the cobbles either

How many teams had Matthews and porte? I have both(porte on the bench), and currently lying 12th. Messes quite a bit with my week 2 and 3 plans

At least Porte scored some point before his stage 9 curse hit. Now I will have to bring in a whole bench of climbers. Still hanging around 50ish is new to me. Thanks GvA!!
