The Overberg is known for its beauty and on the 12th of December, mountain bikers will have a chance to ride the CAPE AGULHAS MTB CLASSIC on the Southernmost tip of Africa from Struisbaai.
There are four distances on offer during the 2015 event: The main race is 75km, testing the skill and stamina of the rider. Then there is the scenic 45km route and the slightly downscaled 35km ride, as well as a 10km event to enjoy at your leisure. The 72km and 46km rides include a 7km beach ride and as the race date is chosen to coincide with low tide, 95% of this is rideable!
Medals for all finishers, kids entertainment and various food stalls in the church hall. The refreshment stations on the routes will have fruit, Coke, and other surprises. All riders will be timed and there are wonderful prizes to be won in the lucky draw as well as for the winners. A Revel 2 Giant bike will be up for grabs too!
