Cannondale Gives Back to the Rides That Matter

Paid partnership with Omnico

Cycling in South Africa is built on community.

From weekend warriors to serious racers, we all share the same roads, trails, and passion – and we all rely on the structures that make riding possible. Whether it’s CSA licences that keep racing alive or trail fees that maintain the incredible networks we’re privileged to ride, these costs are essential – but they do add up.

This summer, Cannondale wants to give something back.

From 1 December through to the end of January 2026, anyone who purchases a new Cannondale bicycle will have their Cycling South Africa (CSA) racing licence or annual trail fees covered, up to a maximum of R2,000 per rider.

Why are we doing this?

Because cycling doesn’t exist in isolation. Without properly funded trails, there is no mountain biking. Without licences and organised structures, there is no racing. And without riders supporting the system, the system doesn’t survive.

We fully endorse trail fees and CSA licensing – they are vital to the sustainability of cycling in South Africa. This campaign is simply our way of helping ease the financial pressure, particularly at a time when the cost of participation continues to rise, while still encouraging riders to contribute where it matters most.

Think of it as Cannondale investing back into the same trails, races, and communities that inspire us to build bikes in the first place.

Ride more. Worry less.
