Set on the scenic Farm Friedenau, riders will experience a combination of flowing gravel roads, jeep track and sections of single track through beautiful Namibian bushveld terrain. As Race 2 of the 2026 Hollard Grand Prix MTB Series, the event attracts both competitive riders chasing valuable series points as well as social riders looking to enjoy a well-organised race in a spectacular natural setting. 🌿 Scenic Farm Routes The routes traverse Farm Friedenau and five neighbouring farms, offering riders exclusive access to private farmland rarely open to the public. Riders will experience a mix of gravel roads, jeep track and flowing single track, with sweeping views, challenging climbs and fast descents through the Namibian bushveld. 🚴 Race Categories 🔥 80km Full Marathon A demanding endurance race for experienced riders featuring long gravel climbs, technical sections and fast descents. 🔥 50km Half Marathon A balanced route with a mix of jeep track and gravel roads, perfect for intermediate riders looking for a challenge. 🔥 25km Fun Ride A shorter route ideal for recreational riders, beginners and riders wanting to enjoy the atmosphere of race day. ⚡ E-Bikes Category – E-bike riders may participate and are eligible for podium medals in their category. 🏁 More Than Just a Race The Friedenau MTB Gravel Challenge is known not only for its exciting routes but also for its relaxed farm atmosphere.
