Tanqua Kuru Bicycle Race

It’s not often that one has the opportunity to experience something unique, for the first time.

We’ve totally reimagined a bicycle race and built it from the ground up. This race is hand built.

THE INFO.

The Tanqua Kuru Bicycle Race is a two-day gravel race.

The race has been specifically designed to test a modern gravel bicycle, however, our aim is to bring all people who love bicycles together. We want to be as inclusionary as possible, so we welcome any type of bicycle to take part. 

THE FORMAT.

Day 1 (Long) – 110km - 450m ascent (more gravel)

or

Day 1 (Short) - 55km - 150m ascent (more chill)

Day 2 – 60 km - 250m ascent

This year, we will have two race categories:

• First over the line 
• Points race. Points are accumulated for each of the segments. 3 points for first place, 2 points for second place and 1 point for third place.
