About the event
We are excited to announce the launch of the Darling Wild Flower Edition of Ride and Run Darling on 16 September, brought to you by Aktiv Events and our presenting partner Retail Capital, a division of ThymeBank.
Get ready to experience a trail running and mountain biking event for the whole family this spring.
Ride and Run Darling takes you through the beautiful, untouched single tracks and jeep tracks of Wolwefontein and its surrounding farms. The area is known for its stunning floral magnificence, and this year, with abundant rain, the spring season promises to be extraordinary. What better way to immerse yourself in this natural beauty than by participating on a bike or by foot! The routes are well-marked, marshalled, and equipped with water points to keep you hydrated and energized. Whether you're a novice or an experienced athlete, there are route categories for all levels. A flower fun fuelled day for individuals, groups of friends, corporate teams, and families.
The Start/Finish line is located at Living Colour in Darling, where you can look forward to delicious food, drinks, and a pumping post-event atmosphere.
Thanks to good relationships with neighbouring farms, we are proud to announce that our routes will be completely free of tar road crossings. This year's event guarantees uninterrupted single tracks, challenging climbs, an abundance of flowers and greenery, and breathtaking views.
