About the event
Starting in Franschhoek, the route takes you over the Franschhoek pass, past the Theewaterskloof dam, Botriver, Caledon, through the Hemel en Aarde Vallei to finish at the exclusive Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate in Hermanus. 100 scenic miles of gravel, asphalt and single track! It promises to be one of those indisputably unique events not to be missed.
King Price Race to the Sea will have double the elevation punch than fellow King Price Race to the Sun at 2300 m, and riders may expect a true test in perseverance, but, oh, what a feeling of accomplishment to cross the finish line after conquering 100 miles of gruelling gravel!
