About the event
The Swartberg Gran Fondo is a 170 km gravel bike race starting and ending in Prince Albert, Western Cape. It incorporates Meiringspoort and Swartberg Pass. There are other events on the day such as the Staffeta (relay), Medio Fondo and the e-Fondo for e-Bikes. The e-bikes have their own race, and are not integrated with other standard cycling categories.
The Swartberg Gran Fondo is part of the Trek UCI Gravel World Series.
