Can you tame The Beast?

On 18 September, 2022 you will have the opportunity to take on The Beast of the East. Whether it be the Big Beast of the Small Beast, the challenge lies ahead!

Drake Events presents the MTBeast of the East. You've seen all that Drake Events has put together at the Outrides and Tours. Now, it's time to RACE! An official CSA Sanctioned event, the quality of this race will be at the highest level, ensuring you're taken care of from online entries through to that finish line beer, and every kilometre in between. 

You have the option of racing the Big Beast of 162km or the Small Beast of 104km. Both routes are non-technical, but do present a few (very short) rocky sections, which may require portage. 

The route is gravel bike friendly. What you lose on portage, you'll more than make up for on some of the very fast dirt roads of Bapsfontein and surrounds. Be careful, the Beast fights back and all forms of dirt surfaces lie ahead.
