The Greyt Middelplaas Escape MTB Event

Greyt Escape is an annual mountain bike event taking riders through the best trails of Greyton and the Riviersonderend mountain range. The One Day event is hosted by the Middleplaas Farm and follows an out and back route. Riders can choose between a 40km distance with a total of 900m of climbing or the 60km with 1 500m of climbing, some of which formed part of the 2022 Cape Epic route. The event is supported by Shimano, Caledon Toyota, Enduren and Squirt Cycling. For the racing snakes there is prize money on offer for the overall – that’s the Men’s and Women’s events.
