Taking place on Saturday, 11 April 2026, the Lite edition serves as the accessible counterpart to the legendary "Lion and Tiger" ultra-event. Hosted at the unique Boskoppie Lion & Tiger Reserve near Kroonstad, this race offers a rare atmosphere where the start-line tension is punctuated by the literal roar of big cats.

The Gravel Rush Lite is designed for speed, flow, and fun, offering two distances tailored for different levels of experience:
90km Route: A serious test for those looking to push their pace on open, rolling gravel roads.
47km Route: The ideal "intro to gravel" or a fast-paced sprint for those who want to be back at the reserve in time for a post-race celebration.
