Selling a well-used, but still capable, hardtail-trail-shredder. Ideal for someone who wants to test out MTBing, perhaps even to learn jumping, without breaking the bank.
In need of a fair bit of TLC, but a solid package.
Few upgrades made over the years include:
- RockShox 30 Gold RL Solo Air Forks 120mm travel
- OneUp components 1x30T chainring (scratches on chainstay are from chainsuck in the days when it was still 2x)
- Microshift AdventX 10 speed clutch rear derailleur (not well known in SA, but i.m.o. as reliable as Deore)
- Shimano Deore 10 speed shifter
- Dropper seatpost
- Schwalbe Hans Dampf 27.5 x 2.35" Addix Soft SuperG TL Easy tyres (durable enduro sidewalls) - good amount of tread left
- KMC chain & Microshift casette with 700km, i.e. only about halfway into their lifespan
