The late Johann Rissik aka Veldkornet of the Dikwielkommando dreamt of a tandem that is super reliable , easier to transport than a normal tandem on which he and Sandra can tour the world after Sandra’s retirement. So Johann went to the renowned Dave Mercer in Cape Town to make his dream come true . Dave build the frame with 3 couplers enabling Johann to split the bike in 2 for easier plane and train transport . Johann fitted a Rohloff 500/14 hub for super reliability . The front wheel runs a dynamo hub .This was build in 2016 and the tandem had seen little use until Johann’s untimely and unexpected passing away 4 years ago. Sandra has now asked me to sell it on her behalf . The replacement cost of this build is way above the asking price. Make a decent offer this needs to be used
