Built 3 years ago with the following new parts:
Ultegra drive train with Ultegra RX clutch derailleur
11 speed, 50-34 and 11-34. Lots of gears, but still reasonable replacement cost. As is, lots of gears for road cycling around Cape Town and one can still get up the Swartberg Pass. Some guys do use a 11-40 cassette with the Ultegra RX derailleur without issue.
Shimano 105 crankset
Ultegra brakeset with ICE rotors
Deda carbon handlebars and seat post
Fulcram wheelset.

Bike built for both road and gravel. 90% of my riding has been on the road around Cape Town. With the 2x chainset, one can easily stay with roadies around the Peninsula on slick tires. However, the bike does take up to 45mm tires and is great for Karoo roads and gravel trips. I covered most of the bike in protective tape when I built it.

Size 55.5cm, I am 1.77m and it fits me well.
