Chilled Squirrel is a producer of electric bicycles in South Africa. We are a team of like-minded artisans who started out 15 years ago building electric assist vehicles for people with physical challenges. This evolved into a electric bicycle business. We build each model with TLC and have been fortunate to establish a reputable name in S.A - also having supplied Google in JHB .

Our electric bikes are further customized if needed to meet different peoples needs . There are no limitations !

Our e-bikes come with a 3 year warranty on the electronics, motor and frame and one year on the battery. If you treat your battery correctly she will give you 4-5 years of use. We have customers who have been using our batteries for over 4 years!

ELECTRIC DRIVE TRAIN SPECS
Note: There are two main sandeater models : One built for fishing expeditions which has customized front and rear racks R40K
and one normal sandeater ( non fishing ) R35K. If you would like to upgrade to Go fishing sandeater please let us know.

Sandeater 1000w fat bikes - great for beaches, sand dunes , any soft sand terrain and mountain trails. The 4.0" wide Fat tires crunch stones and debris absorbing shock and supplying a comfortable ride.
ELECTRIC DRIVE SYSTEM FEATURES
Motor : 1000W Mid drive BBS-HD 160nM of Torque for carrying all kinds of heavy loads and for riding on all kinds of terrain (soft sand / dunes / beaches)
Battery : Samsung 48v/11.6ah light weight lithium battery. Easy slip on slip off with lock and key. Remove and charge anywhere with normal wall socket.
Smart Charger - carry with you and easily charge your battery anywhere like a cell phone.
Thumb throttle : if and when you want to over-ride the power assist and just throttle up to power . Helpful on steep hills when you first take off just to get going.
LCD Digital console : backlit for night riding, speedometer , odometer for trip recordings , power assist level indicator , battery power indicator , time and temp.
USB Charging Port and lead for charging cell or smart phones whilst riding.
PAS Pedal assist : 9 levels of power assist to choose from. 1 being the least amount of power and 9 the highest and you can switch up or down as required depending on the steepness of the hill and the power you need.
