SOLD Lapierre Spicy 316 (Custom Build)

The bike is now custom including the following:
Lyne Components : dropper post external cabling
Wide Handlebars, 45mm trail stem.
Brand new double clamp grips.
New SLX finned brake.

These extras were installed at a total of R7900 excluding installation.

Previous owner: Lapierre Spicy Enduro / All Mountain Bike in Excellent Condition.

I purchased this bike in Scotland and recently moved back to Cape Town. This bike has honestly seen very little use from new, due to work constraints and never really getting the time to get to the hills.

Having said that, a lot of upgrades were done as listed above, such as upgraded rims, hubs and stem. Most recently after a fair while of non use I did have the mind of trying to find time and get back into the hills and a full service was done on the bike and on both the shock and fork. In addition to this the Crankset, Rear Derailleur, Cassette, and chain was upgraded to Shimano XT, also Nuke Proof Headset and Blackspire Chain Tensioner. These parts have ZERO use on them since fitted and can easily be seen to be totally unused.

The service, parts and labour came to over 600 Pound Sterling in Scotland.
Overall the bike is in excellent condition, with no scratches or dents....typical of a fair-weather rider.
It honestly breaks my heart to see this go, but due to work constraints its a necessary evil.

My reason for selling:
The bike is exactly as good as described above, I immediately bought the bike without riding it because of its amazing condition. Unfortunately the bike is too big for me which is a great pity because this is such an amazing bike for climbing, descending and everything in between.
