Test your knowledge in the 2019 Bike Hub Fantasy Tour

By Press Office · 137 comments

The annual Bike Hub Tour de France Fantasy Tour is back for 2019. This year Bike Hub is offering Lazer helmets and eyewear as prizes during the Fantasy Tour. We have also introduced a pools feature allowing you and your friends to test your knowledge in your own leagues.

How it works

The Fantasy Tour is all about picking your very own Tour de France dream team. You can choose any riders from any team to make up the ultimate virtual team.

  • Pick your squad of 10 riders: 8 active riders and 2 substitutes.
  • Team submissions close once the Tour begins: at 12h00 SAST on Saturday, 6 July 2019.
  • Substitutes: On the two rest days during the race you’ll have the opportunity to substitute riders. You can drop the non-performers or bring in some fresh legs.
  • Once substituted, riders can be used again, however points are only allocated while a rider is active…. if they’re on the bench you don’t score points.

Ok, come clean okes, who picked him?

Surely you meant to pick WvA but misclicked?!

Who in their right mind would pick the lead-out man for Dylan Groenewegen?

Super happy for Theunisen and what amazing thinking on their feet by Jumbo Visma after seeing Groenewegen on the deck. I haven't checked the replay in detail heard WvA did a big pull for him in that last stretch, what a guy.

I was also look at that last night - visionary / accident?

(Would have been nice to see the list of what teams include a certain rider)

My team might need 25 stages for the long game to work

Can't make a miraculous comeback in the third week of the tour if you don't fall behind in these early stages I say..

Hi Admin.

Any way of seeing the number of times a rider has been chosen by all Fantasy League players? Ranked most times chosen to least, including all riders

I'm guessing Alaphillipe and Sagan must surely be in the Top 5 riders chosen.

Thanks

I've got the Stage 3 stage winner, The Yellow Jersey, White Yersey and Green Jersey after stage 3.

Yet only moved up 1 position from 165 to 164.

So safe to say that MOST people have Sagan, Allaphillipe and WvA. So the game will be won on the GC contenders everyone went with.

Hoping for a Uran, Nibali, Mas podium

Yep, but I budget the time lost to #TDFobsession into my deadline negotiations with my project manager, so the deliverables are completed on their due date... one week after the TDF finishes...

hmm, if anyone spot Barguil Warren out there on the parcours - please tell him his manager consider him as awol. He can find his own way home.

Seems today my team were having a rest day, except for GT, JA.
Also lost two of the three jerseys since day 2.
As for my subs... they're resting up very well.

I just saw Dylan's crash on stage 1 from the onboard cameras (from 1:14)... hopefully he'll be okay for tomorrow and Monday

Brilliant footage from the Jumbo car, their expression when Groenewegen Crashed...

And Then.. Theunissen Wins!!!!

Flashback to 2007 Super Rugby Final, Sha vs Bul...I was in the stadium.. We lost it, but then we won it!

Absolutely stoked that 1 of my riders scores big today; 100 points after not picking up a point during the first seven stages.

Not so happy that I've got him as a substitute at the moment
