There really is no better feeling than getting back in the saddle and hitting the wide open road (or mountain, or trail) for essential time out, fresh air and of course some healthy competition.
Jamie Owen, marketing manager for Thule SA explains, “Thule has introduced a few key cycling essentials to help with every aspect of your race. Here are our team’s top picks to ensure you have a great ride.”
A bike carrier is an essential but buying a bike rack can be expensive so it’s really important to understand the various options that are available. Most cyclists are looking for a bike carrier that will be the easiest and most convenient to use, while also keeping their bikes safe, secure and ready to ride when unloading at the destination.
As a world-leader in bike racks for cars, Thule knows what is important: high-quality, stylish bike racks for professional racers as well as weekend warriors. All Thule’s products are thoroughly tested to ensure that your bikes are safe and secure during transportation.
Roof mounted carriers come in a few different options, all of which need to be mounted to a set of roof racks. The most popular selling roof mounted carrier is the Thule ProRide 598 which secures the bikes wheels to the carrier and the arm secures to the bicycles frame to ensure that it stays upright and safe during transportation. You also get the latest Thule TopRide which is a fork mounted option that secures to the bikes quick-release or thru-axel. This carrier has a premium design which allows for quick and easy loading for almost any road bike, gravel bike or mountain bike.
A rear door mounted carrier is perfect for vehicles without a towbar. These carriers allow you to load your bikes at a convenient height. These trunk bike racks are secure, easy to install and great for relaxing bike trips or serious races. The Thule OutWay is a hanging trunk bike rack that ensures quick and easy mounting to the car, thanks to simple user interface and the intuitive torque limiting tightening system. This carrier is available as a 2-bike or 3-bike hanging version as well as a 2-bike platform option.

Thule is taking the piss man.
At least there are alternatives. Using one of these on the fork leg with great results. Robust strap and soft enough to not damage the paint of the frame is pushes against.
