Meerendal Wine Estate will be bustling with excitement this coming weekend (Saturday, 05 and Sunday, 06 September 2015) when mountain bike enthusiasts of all ages and expertise join in on the action at the inaugural ISUZU MTB Festival Cape Town which will include the launch of the Fedhealth MTB Challenge.

“The Festival is long overdue and will celebrate all things mountain bike related,” says Alexa Cunningham, MTB Events Manager of Stillwater Sports. “From an Enduro Ride, to a team relay, 4×4 Off Road Academy demonstrations and free mountain bike skills sessions, ISUZU is pulling out all the stops to ensure a fun filled weekend like no other.”
“As part of the Festival, Fedhealth will be hosting a Kids MTB event on the Saturday for ages 1 – 11 followed by the 35km and 60km Fedhealth MTB Challenge and a 15km Fedhealth Fun Ride on the Sunday,” continues Cunningham. “We guarantee a weekend of fun for both participants and spectators alike. We invite family and friends to come indulge in an array of mouth-watering treats paired with Meerendal’s award winning wines.”
The ISUZU MTB Festival has captured the attention of a number of South Africa’s leading sports men and women. Top XTERRA athletes Stuart Marais, Bradley Weiss and Matthew Daneel will be seen in action on Saturday when they team up for the ISUZU 3km Team Relay. On Sunday Marais will join Robyn De Groot, Erik Kleinhans and Nico Pfitzenmaier on the start line of 60km Fedhealth MTB Challenge.
