The Jar from Dirt Gravel Ride, originally scheduled for this weekend has sadly been postponed to Saturday & Sunday, 2 & 3 December 2023. Entries for the new date will open on Monday, 4 September 2023.
After careful consultation with all stakeholders, we would like to give our riders enough notice that the decision has been taken to postpone due to adverse weather predicted for this weekend. Giving the nature of the event being an outdoor camping weekend with friends and family, the weather conditions will not be pleasant in the camp as well as on route.
All riders who have already entered have been contacted via email, please check your email for further details.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate the understanding and support. We look forward to spending the weekend with you on 2 & 3 December 2023. You can view the original press release below:

Why the name Jar from Dirt Gravel Ride? Today the use of amphora brings something new and exciting to Stettyn Family Vineyard in the form of the Jar from Dirt ultra-premium range. An amphora is a clay vessel that has been used to make wine since ancient times.
The Male and Female winner of the 120km will win the prestigious title and the floating amphora trophy being designed and crafted by Corinne de Haas Ceramics.
