Team MTN Qhubeka have come along in leaps and bounds in 2013, and 2014 promises to be an amazing year for the team with an amazing story. Almost looked upon like the Jamaican Bobsled team did in the movie Cool Runnings, they have proved time and time again that they deserve to be where they are and are looking forward to proving it even more in the new European season next year. This week on Cycle Talk SA Brad Brown caught up team principal Douglas Ryder to chat a little bit about where the team came from, how they fared this season and what their long term goals are.
Brad also chatted to Ali Mclean about the Cycle Lab Cycling Club, which is the largest in the country, about what they do that sets them apart from other clubs. This is a must listen to interview if you belong to a club and are trying to build your numbers, there are a few great lessons to be learnt about what Ali and her team are doing right.
The final interview on the show this week is with Freddie Pienaar, one of 14 cyclists that are riding from Pretoria to Port Elizabeth as part of the Race for Better Hearing.
