The annual Bike Hub Tour de France Fantasy Tour is back for 2018. This year Bike Hub is offering a Wahoo KICKR indoor smart trainer for the Fantasy Tour overall winner. We have also introduced a pools feature allowing you and your friends to face off in your own leagues.

How it works

The Fantasy Tour is all about picking your very own Tour de France dream team. You can choose any riders from any team to make up the ultimate virtual team.

  • Pick your squad of 12 riders: 8 active riders and 4 substitutes.
  • Team submissions close once the Tour begins: at 11h10 SAST on Saturday, 7 July 2018.
  • Substitutes: On the two rest days during the race you’ll have the opportunity to substitute riders. You can drop the non-performers or bring in some fresh legs.
  • Once substituted, riders can be used again, however points are only allocated while a rider is active…. if they’re on the bench you don’t score points.

Pools

This year we have included a new a feature, public and private pools. Now you can square up against your friends, families, and colleagues. Get started by creating your own pools here.

Jip quite a LOT of guys have been dead weight :cursing:  I have a feeling AllaFlippie will take overall Combative...he has been busy basically every day.

most likely he really has chased a lot to get into the kom jersey but just a team award to direct energie, who really lit it up in week1, winning 5 of the first 8 awards.

Gaudin has worn red from two stages, alaphilipe just one.

Think i got about 90% of stage winners so far, but without yellow of GT im now out of top 10. So for next year I wont take Richie Porte, then he will probably win. Hoping fir a huge long range Movistar attack tomorrow

had a look see at who's on the pointy end with 3 stages to go.

Turcodepor - 2506

Swissvan - 2312

Pantani - 2247

the rest of us plebs

That's a big lead, but thinks can shakeup with the final classification.

All 3 have:NQ, Sags, GVA and GT - so whatever happens with these guys won't change a thing.

2 of them have bardet, Demare and Froome in common(in different combinations)

Turcode is the only one with Alaphillipe, Kristoff

Swiss is the only one with Latour and Roglic

Pantani is the only one with TomD and Landa

Things would really need to go wrong for a change here, despite them closing up on the ITT where roglic, froome and tomd should feature well. I think Alaphillipe is lined up for the combatative jersey too(100 points), so it's looking like Turcode has got one foot on the hometrainer.

(I'm sure admin is also unsure how he's going to ship it to heidiland)

Ok saw my gat completely today dropping from 12th to 25th and tomorrow will be as bad. Luckily my R300 bet on Roglic to pay out R10 000 makes up for the trainer

Dan Martin teams can smile. 100 points most combative. I would thought Alaphilippe

Yeah i am a little confused by that too.. for once no-one would've complained about them giving it to a French rider [emoji23]

jaja deserved it, Dan deserved it, anyone from direct energie deserved it. Pretty stoked it went to a GC rider who wasn't scared to roll the dice

Roglic for yesterdays stage. Had something on G to win today, leading at 2nd checkpoint but then got told to ease off and stay safe. I think more a case of Brailsford trying to get Froome the stage. Anyway, on my ride today i was thinking of next years picks

Too much happens between tours... i am not even considering any picks for next year. This year was enough stress already thanks.

Sprinters picked, that make it to Paris, should receive double points for the final stage. Might give them extra incentive to stay in the Fantasy Tour.
