We are excited to share our latest addition to our rim lineup, introducing AMP HD- our toughest rims yet

AMP HD stands for ‘Heavy Duty’. These guys are tough and ready to rumble when things get rowdy on the trail.

AMP HD Rim

The AMP HD rim features a 605g heavy duty rim profile, which has been designed with enduro riding and E-bikes in mind.

Torture tested- we rode these rims for over a year before bringing them to market. You’ll see them equipped on all of our office test rigs, we can’t get enough of them!

The AMP HD rim borrows some tech from its bigger brother, the AMP Carbon rim, namely the increased bead-wall thickness. This area is usually the first point of impact on a rim strike, so reinforcing the rim profile at that point significantly increases durability.
We have these rims in 29er as well as 27.5″, we are also doing them in 32 and 28 hole, making them an easy upgrade for your Enduro or E-bike.

AMP HD Wheelsets

The AMP HD rim is available in two wheelsets, the High Engagement Edition as well as the E-bike Edition.

The two wheelsets feature different hub options. The High Engagement Edition uses our JB03 High engagement hubs (left), which react with lightening fast precision and make all the right noises.

The E-bike Edition uses our EB01 hubs (right) which are reinforced all round and use a steel axle and free hub body resulting in a bulletproof, easy to service package.

AMP HD wheelsets feature a driver body of your choice and start at R7600 and are available online and in store.

I've always been impressed with the quality and value for money from Lyne.

Nice to see a new model that caters for the hard-hitters.

At a RRP of R1500, it's in the same league as the Zero MT30, which is also an awesome rim.

The bigger brands who have this kind of rim charge R2k+ per rim, so the Lyne is a super option for budget-conscious riders.

Nice, 27.5 coming right back into vogue as MX/mullet bikes become the rage.
