So, what is Trail\u2019s End Bike Hotel?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ve heard of a ski lodge, right? Well this is the same, just not for skiing, this one\u2019s for cycling (and running and hiking and all those fun activities!)<\/strong> Being located at the trail head for the Grabouw Forest Trails and a short pedal across to the Oak Valley Trails, we are the perfect location for a training camp or a weekend of riding with friends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also have a 20m purpose built training pool and with the Elgin Grabouw Sports Club only 2km away with the perfect dam for open water swim training, we are an ideal location for triathletes to get a solid training block in. Are you into exploring the outdoors but not too keen on hiking or cycling? More things to do in the area abound, Elgin is known for its excellent quality Cool Climate Wines<\/strong>, and there are plenty wine farms to visit for a tasting (we recommend visiting a few by bike but can\u2019t vouch for your safety while doing so!), the Cape Canopy Tours was voted the 2nd best new attraction in the world in 2015 by Lonely Planet<\/strong>. Looking for good cuisine? The list of great restaurants is also substantial, but you may be stuck at Trail\u2019s End (with Chef James\u2019 rave review food) for the evenings as restaurants tend only to be open for brekkies and lunches most days out here. A little further afield there\u2019s the Betty\u2019s Bay Penguin Experience and Botanical Gardens, or pop to Hermanus for the day, for some whale watching or shark cage diving.
