The training program duration is two days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidates of a Cycle Skills &amp; Club Level Coaching Course will learn the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. An introduction and an overview of Cycling South Africa\u2019s National Coaching Accreditation Scheme and training programs<\/p>\n<p>2. Accreditation requirements \u2013 Cycle Skill &amp; Club Cycling Coach training program<\/p>\n<p>3. Role of the coach;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Legal Requirements<\/li>\n<li>Risk Management<\/li>\n<li>Child Protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4. Planning and reviewing a session<\/p>\n<p>5. Managing Risk<\/p>\n<p>6. The coach in action;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Athlete Development<\/li>\n<li>Bicycle road worthiness and safety<\/li>\n<li>Optimising bicycle and helmet fit<\/li>\n<li>Basic Cycle Skills \u2013 Evaluation and instruction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>7. Policies and Procedures:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cycling South Africa Coach\u2019s Code of Ethics<\/li>\n<li>Cycling SA-NCAS Individual Agreement<\/li>\n<li>Acknowledgement of Accreditation Requirements<\/li>\n<li>Recognition of Prior Learning \/ Current Competence Policy<\/li>\n<li>Updating Policy<\/li>\n<li>Cycling South Africa Sports Safety policy<\/li>\n<li>Cycling South Africa Coach\u2019s HIV\/Aids Policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>8. Cycling and Coaching Tips not found in Magazines<\/p>\n<p>9. Goal setting and the path of Achievement<\/p>\n<p>10. Dare to Dream \u2013 Motivational Insert<\/p>\n<p>11.
