Entries re-open on <strong>August 1, 2013<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Originally scheduled over the <strong>10th \u2013 17th August 2013<\/strong>, the event was postponed to take advantage of the numerous, previously undiscovered, single tracks and character filled country lodges.<\/p>\n<p>Fiona Coward, Event Organiser, expands:  \u201cYou&#8217;re not supposed to find new routes on a dry run but what we discovered on the trip inspired us to change the route significantly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor example: Stage Two which runs over rolling hills of untouched forest has been divided into two days opening up a network of single track for riders to explore. Naturally this had an impact on the subsequent stages, but all to the rider\u2019s benefit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Lowering the number of entrants has allowed us to stay in the smaller lodges which will enhance the entire experience,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This ride will be simply unforgettable. Despite the shorter routes, the 2014 group of select riders will still need to be super fit and technically competent.\u201d she advises.<\/p>\n<p>Entries are priced at R28 700 and include flights from Johannesburg courtesy of SA Airlink, an additional 15kg bike allowance, all transfers, accommodation and meals offering riders real value for money. Entry fees excluding flights are 1700 euros.
