I\u2019m tired of people always thinking they have to follow the Western world\u2019s ways, it\u2019s time we started supporting our own local brands and that it became \u2018cool\u2019 to ride South African gear,\u201d said Croeser.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt will come across as a bit of a clich\u00e9 to some but I really mean it when I say the bike really is a good one and can be compared to all the other top brands in the industry and hence deserves all the support it can get from our local guys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVictor (Momsen) has put together one of most competitive race machines around and I\u2019m really excited to see what can come of this relationship.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-2-0-55982700-1375983548.jpg\" data-fileid=\"252245\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"252245\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"2013RourkeAction.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-2-0-55982700-1375983548.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color:#696969\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\">Rourke Croeser (Kargo Pro MTB) getting to grips with his new Miomsen carbon hardtail mountainbike on the cascades MTB track that will host the UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships later this month.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#696969\"><span style=\"font-size:12px\">Photo: Kyle Gilham\/Gameplan Media<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI took the bike out of its packaging and assembled it the night before the Illovo Eston Marathon so I guess I was a little nervous, not about the bike itself, but whether everything was setup as it should be.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew the importance of the race though and when I got there on Sunday morning I just had a really good feeling and was excited to be on the new bike.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe bike is a kilogram and a half lighter than what I was riding previously, which in cycling terms is huge!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt also has a wider bottom bracket, which gives it really good core stability and good forward movement.
