I would rather be getting dirty on my mountain bike.  This will be the first time that I take part in the Slanghoek Triathlon, but from what I hear it is a fantastic event that is very picturesque.  I expect the run to be the toughest part of the event.  A 10km off-road run is always tougher than a road run and it will be made harder having to deal with the fatigue from the swim and bike legs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am really looking forward to a day outdoors doing what I love followed by some time spent with like-minded people after the race. You also can&#8217;t beat that feeling of satisfaction that comes from completing a race.  I have had a bit of a rough start to the season having struggled with illness and not being able to train for three weeks.
