An under the weather Rachel Atherton still impressed as she managed to fight her way to second in qualifying on a hot and dry day at the Cascades MTB Park at the 2014 UCI MTB World Cup, Presented by Shimano, just a day before the final on Saturday afternoon.<\/span><\/p>\n Image credit: Darren Goddard\/Gameplan Media<\/p>\n A pic Rachel popped up on her Instagram earlier this week. Based on that second place in qualifying she has bounced back pretty well.<\/span><\/p>\n Rachel also commented on her health. There was a healthy amount of chatter about a photo she posted on Twitter earlier in the week.
