<\/a><\/p>\nSwiss mountain biking star, Stefan Sahm in action. \/\/ Photo Credit: Werner Sahm.<\/span><\/p>\n Sahm, whose impressive track record includes amongst others, three ABSA Cape Epic victories, three Transalp Challenge victories, two Trans Schwarzwald victories, one Trans Germany victory and one Trans Andes Challenge victory, is in the process of rehoming to South Africa, with Stellenbosch being his desired end destination. \u201cOur move to South Africa is firstly a personal decision,\u201d says Sahm. \u201cWe wanted to make a change and spend more time together as a family. Secondly, South Africa is one of the greatest places, with Stellenbosch having a good mixture of all that the Cape has to offer. It actually became a home for me a long time ago\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cSeeing as we will be moving to South African soon, I thought I might as well take the opportunity to race some of the really cool events in the Western Cape,\u201d continues Sahm. \u201cI know that the Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails features the most perfect single trail riding that Stellenbosch has to offer. With November being off season for the Europeans, I entered with the idea of having a lot of fun, but whenever I put a start number on my bike I want to race as fast as possible. I am looking forward to the sunshine, cool trails and friendly people\u201d.<\/p>\n Event Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n The Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails is an individual two day mountain bike stage race that combines a vast network of world class trails with beauty and exclusivity. Riders are given the unique opportunity to experience a spectacular combination of single-tracks that have been previously unknown to the mountain biking community of Stellenbosch. The goal behind the Pennypinchers Origin Of Trails is to offer participants an unbelievable cycling experience, while raising funds to further trail building in Stellenbosch.<\/p>\n Be part of the action at this end of year mountain bike season celebration.
