While the shortest stage in this year\u2019s event following the prologue, it was by no means the easiest. The abundant loose rocky climbs and equally tricky descents made for an unending test of riders\u2019 strength and skill.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"w-full aspect-video\" contenteditable=\"false\">\n<div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/106835624?app_id=122963\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" title=\"Lesotho Sky Day 2 - Ramabanta loop, 52km\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Guido Thaler of Craft-Rocky-Mountain was first over the line in 02:41:23. However, due to illness his partner Mathias Nothegger withdrew from the race. Louis-Bresler Knipe and Gert Heyns of Contego came across in 02:45:48 as the first official team. They were followed again by Teboho Khantsi and Phetetso Monese (Alliance 1) in 02:54:47. Shaun Mackenzie and Simon Zahnd (My Gas) rounded out the official top three coming in at 03:03:04.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-bold\">Day 3 &#8211; Ramabanta to Malealea<\/h2>\n<p>Day 3 takes riders on a 69 km route to Malealea where they\u2019ll spend two nights.
