With just two months to the start of the race, the 2015 edition is set to exceed last year\u2019s field of 91 riders across 17 nationalities.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-20190100-1418821687.jpg\" data-fileid=\"460693\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"460693\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-62657-0-20190100-1418821687.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-20190100-1418821687.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This year competitors will ride an all-new 400-kilometre route, including Jebel Shams, Arabia\u2019s highest peak at 3,028 metres. The route has been designed to test riders of all abilities and will take in challenging climbs, descents and specially designed single-track. The race follows the tried and tested format of a prologue followed by four marathon stages.<\/p>\n<p>The Trans Hajar Mountain Bike Race, driven by the Oman Cycling Association, is unlike any other multi stage race winding its way through Oman\u2019s unique landscapes, through canyons, wadis, river-crossings and the occasional village untouched by time, providing an inside view of a uniquely beautiful country.
