There were definitely a few raised eyebrows in the office when we started designing and testing one.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"w-full aspect-video\">\n<div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jR0PyQm1_6A?feature=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Wade Simmons was an instant convert though; &#8220;everyone thinks they&#8217;re so cool and serious, but it&#8217;s really just about having fun on your bike anyway.&#8221; And soon enough, the other guys stopped returning their test bikes on time.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-48398600-1419161556.jpg\" data-fileid=\"462292\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"462292\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-62657-0-48398600-1419161556.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-48398600-1419161556.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>FAT FREE came out of a few days of experimenting and shredding the Blizzard in BC&#8217;s coastal mountains.
