For some February might be the month of love, but for the hardened mountain biking enthusiast February is when entries open for the much anticipated FNB Wines2Whales (W2W) Mountain Bike (MTB) Events.<\/p>\n

Riders that participated at the 2014 events or that were placed on the 2014 waiting list can enter the FNB W2W MTB Adventure, Ride or Race on Monday, 16 February 2015 when entries open at 08:00. Both riders in the team need to be on the 2014 database to register during the preferential period.<\/p>\n

Public entries will open at 08h00 on Monday, 02 March 2015.<\/p>\n

Entries are limited to 650 teams (1300 riders) per event and will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Once the entry limit has been reached, riders will be placed on a waiting list. Only paid entries are guaranteed a spot on the start line.<\/p>\n

Starting in the Winelands of Somerset West, riders crossed through (and over) 13 wineries, 26 private farms, six mountains, historic roads and mountain passes, nature conservation areas (including the Kogelberg Biosphere) before finishing within sight of the famous whales of Hermanus!<\/p>\n
