Parking at the start and finish areas, as well as access to various parts of the route, is extremely limited over event weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Operations Director of the Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust, Ren\u00e9e Jordaan, says: \u201cWe encourage all individuals to make use of the available Metrorail and MyCiti public transport facilities on Cycle Tour Race Day, so that cyclists and their bikes can get to the starting line safely and on time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Riders are encouraged to visit the Metrorail website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metrorail.co.za\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.metrorail.co.za<\/a> and the MyCiTi website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myciti.org.za\" rel=\"external nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.myciti.org.za<\/a> for details on the available public transport options and schedules for this year\u2019s Cape Town Cycle Tour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ROAD CLOSURES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All residents in the areas affected by road closures are urged to make use of alternative side streets and designated parking areas on event weekend.
