Advendurance selected the Legends Golf and Safari resort as the venue for this event because it is not only malaria free but less than three hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. The venue itself boasts a world-class golf course and the Entabeni Private Nature Reserve, which is situated on 30 000 hectares of Waterberg and home to an array of game, including the Big Five.<\/p>\n Unlike most stage races, where tenting is the norm, the Tour of Legends includes premier accommodation and meals as part of the entry fee.
