Entries for the event close at midnight tonight (Monday 20 April 2015).<\/p>\n<p>Riders from the age of under-five all the way up to the over 45 classes will be able to race and enjoy what the event has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>William Jackson, who received a World number 6 at the BMX World Champs last year in the 45 and Over Cruiser Men category, is fired up and ready to race this weekend.<\/p>\n<div style=\"\">\n<a class=\"ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-06125800-1429550166.jpg\" data-fileid=\"519370\" data-fileext=\"jpg\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-fileid=\"519370\" class=\"ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed\" alt=\"ccs-62657-0-06125800-1429550166.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.bikehub.co.za\/production\/uploads\/2023\/02\/ccs-62657-0-06125800-1429550166.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/a><span class=\"italic text-sm text-slate-500 block mt-1 mb-4\">William Jackson is ready and eager to race at the 2015 BMX National Age Group (N.A.G) Championship Series (Legs 1-3) which takes place at Germiston BMX Club in Delville, Gauteng, from 25-26 April. \/\/ Photo: Kevin Bender.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI feel like I\u2019m as ready as I can be. I would like to have put in a few more hours of gym work here and there, but I have been very busy, I still feel good though,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson has always loved riding, and used to compete a few years back. \u201cI\u2019ve always enjoyed being on the bike. I used to compete quite a bit in the 80s,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI took my kids to the track when they were about six or seven to see if they would enjoy riding, and simply loved the feeling of being there. Fifteen odd years later, the kids have left the house and here I am, still racing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love that track as well and try to go there for practice every Tuesday and Thursday. It\u2019s just such a fantastic sport, and amazing for the whole family,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Things are looking good for Jackson this season and, when he is ready, he is eager to leave the competitive scene with a bang.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always look forward to these events and next up is the next N.A.G series in July and then the SA Champs in September. At my last event I missed out on first place. I feel the need to give it my all and reclaim that title before calling it a day,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Entries for Legs 1-3 close at midnight tonight (Monday 20 April).
