He has won 25 Tour de France stages during his career. Then he surpassed this feat by winning six stages in 2009. He has since been described as the fastest sprinter in the world. Cavendish recorded his 100th career stage win at the 2013 Giro d\u2019Italia and his 25th career Tour de France stage win at the 2013 race.
